'Tis The Season Rental Fashion

Ready to dress up more than ever this holiday? Here's how to inject some festive spirit into your wardrobe without guiltiness.

I recently have visited By Rotation's holiday pop-up store in Marylebone. I'm not only amazed by the beautifully curated store, staged by Abisola Omole, who only spent 5 days finishing the whole store from design to furnish, moreover, the sustainable approach and the founder behind the business.

By Rotation is a peer-to-peer rental platform from London, launched in 2019. It empowers us to do good for our wardrobes, our wallets and the planet at the same time. Most of the pieces on By Rotation are high-end luxury items, they offer a wide range of designer products, such as cocktail dresses, handbags, heels and stylish homeware pieces.

If you are a label lover like me, renting a sparkly festive outfit would be ideal for our tiny wardrobes and wallets. For instants, if I purchase a brand new look, I think I might only wear that sparkly outfit once on Christmas then it might sit in my wardrobe for years, hence why I lean towards renting looks for special occasions.

Here's a picture of myself trying on the Michelle Silk Sation Dress from Saloni at the By Rotation pop up. To be frank, I am still new to the world of rental fashion, but I can foresee myself renting and lending more in the future indeed. For many reasons, my bank account, my tiny flat in London and the planet. #WhatsMineIsYours

Make sure you don't miss out on visiting their holiday pop up store. You can try on any dresses and rent in-store immediately. What's more exciting is they have curated a selection of festive gifts from local independent brands such as Bable Candles, August & Piers and more, which is perfect for some of you who needs to do some last-minute Christmas shopping.
