The Met Gala, the biggest night event in Manhattan, New York, happened on Monday evening. The event is an annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
The year’s dress code, “The Garden of Time” – was inspired by a short story of the same name by JG Ballard, about aristocrats overrun by “an immense rabble. As eventful as we can imagine, let's discover some of the haute couture looks that the Style Boundary Team loved and adored at the Met Gala last night.

The jacket is paired with a long-sleeved dress in bias-cut silk satin.
