A weekend getaway in Lisbon is such a perfect travel destination. Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city, has so much to offer for food, culture, and a rich arts scene. Below, is my Lisbon travel itinerary.
TO STAY
I booked an Airbnb home and stayed in Campolide—a classic, elegant Portuguese home. My stay was comfortable in a local neighbourhood, 30 minutes away from the city centre.
TO EAT
Palácio dos Duques de Lafões ou do Grilo
The Grilo Palace, belonging to the Dukes of Lafões, was built in the years following the great earthquake of 1755. It was transformed and repurposed by an event and restaurant group. I was truly amazed by the artwork, interior, furniture and food, had a delightful lunchtime with my dad.

Also don't worry too much about the long queue or being there early to avoid the crowd, It's always busy, luckily the queue moves very quickly xx
